DECEMBER BLENDER...

I made a few more cookies today... These however are REAL you can eat them and your teeth won't fall out of your face. These are linzer cookies and red velvet crinkles! The linzer has a strawberry filling if you were wondering. If you haven't had them, they're sort of a crumbly texture with bits of pecans mixed into the dough. The powdered sugar adds just the right amount if sweetness to this jam filled cookie! The other cookie is the opposite.... It's light and cakey but has rich flavor that makes one or two just enough!

Baking day!

Today I've been baking and making dough for Christmas cookies.... So far we have chocolate crinkles... Chocolate chip crack cookies and Chinese chews.... I'm currently baking up some red velvet crinkles I've never tried this recipe so I'm hoping it taste right... Ill post more cookies tomorrow happy holidays!!! Cookies!!!

Clay Truffles

DECEMBER BLENDER.... Day 22

This is just a bit of what I've been working on lately... Can't show you everything till after everyone has opened up gifts. These are life size and put into a candy box so when you look at them it'll be more realistic. I'm really glad I was able to find a candy box or else I don't think it would have come out as cool. Anyway, I'm off to set up the rest of the tree! See you guys later... Oh yeah, earlier today when I was out shopping found some cool cookie cutters... Might try them out for some Christmas cookies tomorrow.

Dessert Brooch

DECEMBER BLENDER! Day 21.... The beginning of a new cycle on the Mayan calendar! [yes Dave, I know I'm a nerd.]

Anyhow... Today issssssss a brooch! I was wearing it out while shopping today for Christmas presents ^.^ I put one on my purse as well as my sweater... I've seen a few of these kind of brooches around, but not many. Whenever I'd see them on someone or something I'd always want to know where they got it, I never found out. BUT I did the next best thing, I made my own!

Lollipops and Cotton Candy!

Thought I'd leave you all with happy thoughts of a warm summer since its been freezing outside lately. What's more summery than sugary confections that can get stuck in your hair? Lollipops as big as your face and pink fluff balls of candy....YUM! Circus anyone?

Spring Rolls!

DECEMBER BLENDER! Day 19 still

Hey all, I told you to stay turned... And now.... I finished my Spring Rolls! Nom! These were super fun to make, I do want to make some slight changes though. I want to make a thinner wrapper so it's more like the actual wrapper of a spring roll, but all in all.... I think it looks pretty good for a first time, don't you? Made sure I even had the peanut sauce on the side with a sprinkling of sesame. Even decided I should make the black wood grain plate so it could display better for you guys!
